Best Uses of Our Flour. The Old Stone Mill in Delta Ontario is a National Historic Site showcasing milling technology and 1800s industrial heritage. The mill was built in 1810 and is one of the finest examples of early industrial architecture in the region. During the summer we grind heritage wheat into flour using our 200 year old millstones.

Preserving and Promoting local history for the former Rideau Township. The Rideau Township Historical Society. Was well attended and was very interesting. Jordan Smith presented the history of the Wilbur Mine in central Ontatio. In fact we found out that there were a number of mines there along the route of the Pembroke and Kingston railway, a fact unknown to most of us.
